1. Why did the family have to leave the apartment on Loomis Street so fast?
Because the apartment on Loomis Street’s water pipes were broken which were too old the landlord couldn’t fix it. So the family couldn’t have a normal life.
2. What were the expectations they had about the dream house they hoped to own?
The narrator hopes for a white house that have running water, real inside stairs, at least three washroom so everyone could be out of pressured using bathroom. And the landscape outside the house should have big yard and grass growing without a fence.
