본문내용
1. polling
In communications, "following" is a transmission control method that continuously checks the status of other programs or devices in one program or device, usually checking whether they are still connected and whether they want to transmit data, etc. when they meet certain conditions. That is, in multi-drop or multi-point communications where multiple devices share the same line, the control sends a message to each device one at a time, asking if there is data to transmit (i.e. if they want to use the line).
2. interrupt
Interrupts mean that if an unexpected situation occurs in the middle of a program, the currently running task will be suspended and the unexpected situation will be dealt with first and then returned to the running task.
The types of interrupts are external, internal, and software interrupts. Types of
external interrupts include interrupts by timers, interrupts by keyboards, or interrupts by external devices.
