한양대학교 전문학술영어 강의를 들으면서 쓴 도시열섬에 관한 영어 에세이입니다.당시에 Reference를 완벽하게 APA 스타일로 하지 않아서 약간의 감점이 있었지만 그 부분을 제외한 Rubric에서는 만점을 받았습니다.

Modern cities exist in greenhouses of gray light. Concrete structures made for human habitation have become glass walls surrounding the city. They held the heat from the sun. As a result, the atmospheric motion was reduced, and the city was covered with smoke and dust. Citizens used electricity to avoid the heat, but more heat and pollutants were released. The urban heat island, where the average temperature of the city is higher than that of the suburbs, can reduce the city's color to living green.참고 자료
