- Have you ever seen an apple cut in half and turn to brown in a few minutes?
Observation/Research
- More oxygen will accelerate the process of oxidation.(“Enzymatic Browning”)
- To be less turning to brown, an apple should be less exposure in the air.
Question
Which situation will make an apple become more brown?
Hypothesis
If an apple is exposed to a higher concentration of oxygen, then the apple will turn more brown.
