• Identify areas of new learning in the past week, demonstrate reflection relative to role expectations & anticipated role changes upon graduation.

Student 1
Definitely the area of new learning that I have experienced in this past week has been the advance practice nurse practitioner (APRN) core competencies. As an APRN, one is obligated to provide a more complex, holistic care to individuals that will be under one's care. For instance, the care will be based on scientific, evidence based practice, in combination with updated literacy and also the use of new high efficient technology (DeNisco, 2021). The care is expected to be high quality, with a maximum independence and for sure putting ethics in first place and the role of an excellent educator (DeNisco, 2021).
