Few debates on worldwide industry are as heated these days as the foods that contain genetically modified ingredients. It is an issue that every person needs to apply their mind to. Consumer choices, health and safety, the environment, and justice towards the Third World are all at stake due to the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). As public debate about the desirability of genetically modified food mounts, the sense of what science means to our own health and the health of the planet grows more important.
