As we live in an era of globalization, we meet more and more people from around the world. This is increasing the importance of table manners, originally completed during the Victorian era of England in the 19th century, when form and morality were strict.
But the reason why we need to be familiar with table manners today is because of this.
First, to enjoy each other's cooking. By having some form or framework of morality, I can protect myself and others' rights at the same time.
Second, table manners are necessary to prevent risk and maintain safety. For example, possible injuries to the use of fork and knife are dangerous not only to myself but also to others. Therefore, table manners, such as order and attitude of service delivery, are absolutely necessary for the safety of all of us.
As such, table manners are necessary to enjoy cooking deliciously and to maintain safety. Also, the most interesting part about table manners was what I learned in class I was curious about table manners not only in Korea and the United States, but also in many other countries.
