본문내용
“To be, or not to be: that is the question” (63; pt. 3, ch. 1) is the most famous line of Shakespeare’s works and most likely to spring to one’s mind whose has read “Hamlet.” What makes him ask that kind of question? What does bother him so terribly that he even considers suicide? It is the reality in front of him; so much contaminated, messed with blood from the death between relations and with incest that Hamlet isn’t in the situation that can commit revenge for his father. Rather, he pretends to be crazy to plan revenge successfully.

At this part, Hamlet’s dilemma seems like whether he let her mother pay for her sin or just devolve it to the heaven. Also the point that her marriage partner is who had killed his brother, the Late King does also stimulate Hamlet’s action. His scornful action and saying about her mother is just similar to that about Ophelia.
Just more than that he did to Ophelia, Hamlet shows his scornful attitude toward his mother’s such unfaithful, dishonorable deed.
