1. Introduction
This report has been written to the Directors of USPS with the aim of availing more insight on the state of affair in USPS operations and proposing some resolutions that can be adopted to undermine the fundamental problems in an effort to create a more sustainable business model. By using the SWOT analysis the report will explore the factors that have contributed to the organisation’s strength, weakness, opportunities and threats. The information used in this report has been obtained from an edition of Fortune Magazine as a follow on an edition of a similar article in 1973 that was released in August 2012 concerning the unsustainability of USPS Business Model (Ross, 2012). Below is a chart to show the proposed sustainable business strategy.
