소개글
The first impression that I got first reading the book, Animal Farm by George Orwell, was ‘What is this book about? Oh, it looks like some child’s book.’ However, as I went along with the book, reading chapter by chapter, I started to realize that I was quite wrong from the beginning, and a phrase, that my old lower school teacher used to say, came into my mind “Don’t judge a book by its cover!” This is a book that really made me learn: you should never, ever, judge a book by its cover. Although some people might not know what I might be saying, I am sure that they will all clearly see what I mean, if they read the book themselves.

본문내용
Summary: The book starts with the Old Major’s speech about ‘Animalism’, which basically illustrates an idea that all men are evil, and that animals ought to live in better conditions than they do under human beings. This leads the animals of the farm, to rebel against their owner, Jones, and two pigs, Napoleon and Snowball, emerge into power. There is a power struggle between these two leaders, and Napoleon eventually drives Snowball off the farm with his brutal force. After Napoleon has taken control of the farm, the animals’ lives become worse and worse, as the pigs lives become more and more luxurious due to Napoleon’s power. After all, Napoleon completely transforms into being like Jones, and the book ends with a scene where pigs and humans have a dinner together, them showing great relevance.
