Wal-Marts value chain helps to identify activities associated with how Wal-Mart achieves their many strategies. According to text book, value chain is the idea that a company is a chain of activities for transforming inputs into outputs that customers value. In order for Wal-Mart achieve Value chain; First, Wal-Marts supply chain management is just extremely cost effective. For example, Wal-Mart has been known to copy competition’s successful merchandising concepts.

First, as Wal-Mart grows larger, it seems like it is hard to compensate to all of employee. More recently, the relationships between the Wal-Mart and its employees has been strained by lawsuits claiming that Wal-Mart push employee overwork without any compensation and discriminates women.
Secondly, everyday Wal-Mart low price doesn’t mean that offering good quality with lower price to customers.
