Introduction

Korean stock price has been affected by U.S.`s stock price a lot. The situation that when U.S. stock price rises, Korea stock price also rises, or when U.S. stock goes down, Korea stock also goes down is being happened. Thus, it was stood out that Korea and the United States go to the same direction. Especially since 1999, the integration between Korean and U.S.`s stock has been intensified. Correlation between KOSPI and Dow Johns has been growing from the second half of 1998 and since 1998, The correlation is 0.9, and stock markets integration in world stock markets has been attracted by owing to the rapid development of information and globalization in academia, and financial field. Since the financial crisis, our country`s capital market has developed like advanced nations. Therefore, our team examined the phenomenon of stock market integration in our country and the reason why this situation happened.
