Isn`t it exciting to marry your lover? We think that marriage can make our life happy. Today, the world is turning into a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic society. That`s why ‘Mixed Marriage’ has become a topic of conversation. Mixed marriage has many positive and negative affects on our society.
First, I want to talk about positive effects of ‘Mixed Marriage’. It can bring promotion of understandings between people from different cultures. Our society was closed in the past, but it`s turning into an open society in many ways. In <The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order>, (Samuel Phillips Huntington, 2000) said that ideology from the past has vanished and culture is the only thing that can bring a war into this world. Culture is one of the most important things for us. It`s everywhere, everyday. Culture is our life. Having ‘Mixed Marriage Couple’ around us can be a good chance to understand and accept different cultures. ‘Mixed Marriage’ can easily make different cultures join together. Furthermore, some cultures properly mixed together can make "a new culture" which is different from any other cultures before.
