Thesis statement: ....While it is undeniable that television can offer educational benefits, it has brought far more negative impacts on children such as alienation from parents, an elevated obesity rate, and a link to violence.
A part of conclusion: Television has been a friend, parent, teacher, and sometimes a threat to children over a long-period of time. As much as television has shown the world its incredible aptitude, it has also shown its destructive side; damaging relationships within the family, increasing obesity, and showing a strong link to violence. As the gravity of the situation strengthens for many American families, the negative impact of television should not be ignored....
