Abstract

한국어 초록

장도유적은 통일신라 장보고의 해상유적으로 알려져 있고 장기간에 걸친 발굴조사를 거 쳐 당시에 축조된 토성이 보고되었다. 그러나 조사 결과를 검토한 결과 828년 청해진 설치 에 따라 축조되었다고 보고된 장도토성(청해진성)의 기단에서 출토되는 유물은 대부분 10~12세기경으로 편년되는 것이다. 그러므로 장도토성의 축조 시기는 당연히 출토유물이 폐기되고 난 다음 시기인 12세기 이후로 판단되고 9세기 전반에 폐지되는 청해진유적으로 볼 수 없는 것이다. 즉 장도토성은 토성 기단에서 출토되는 유물로 보아 축조시기가 12세기 이전으로 소급 될 수 없고 2~3차에 걸친 수측흔과 상감청자도 출토되고 있는 고고학적 상황도 장보고 관 련 유적이 될 수 없다. 또한 장도토성은 내외성으로 이루어져 있고 4기의 방형 치(雉)가 부 가되어 있는 점, 섬 앞으로 원목렬을 설치하고 우물을 보호하는 시설을 설치한 것은 항몽시 기 항파두성의 구조와도 상당히 부합하는 것으로 생각된다. 그리고 항몽 시기에 송징장군이 완도를 거점으로 활동하였으며 해방 이전까지는 마을마다 송징장군의 제사를 지냈는데 장군을 주벽에 모신 사당이 장도에 남아 있었던 것, 장도 인근 에 위치한 법화사에 사역을 두르는 담장이 축조된 배경과 장도토성의 축조시기와 구조 등을 감안하면 고려의 항몽유적으로 볼 수 있을 것이다. 한편 장도토성 내부에는 장도토성 축조 이전에 이미 건물지와 수혈, 매납유구 등이 조성 되어 있었던 것으로 보이는데 도기를 주종으로 하는 다양한 제사유물이 출토되었고 그 시기 는 9세기 후반 이후가 중심시기가 된다. 이것은 장도가 삼국사기 제사조에 기록된 중사 처 중의 하나로 기록된 조음도일 가능성이 높고 고려 전기까지 계속하여 제사가 이루어진 것으 로 볼 수 있다. 이와 같이 장도는 통일신라시대의 중사처였다가 고려의 대몽항쟁기에는 섬 을 둘러 토성이 축조된 것으로 장도에는 성격을 달리하는 두 시기의 유적이 있었다고 할 수 있다.

영어 초록

The ruins of Jangdo are known as the maritime ruins of the Unified Silla Jangbogo and after a long period of excavation, the earthen ramparts, which were constructed at the time, was reported. However, after reviewing the results of the survey, most of the artifacts excavated from the contraction process or base of the Cheonghaejinseong, which were reported to have been constructed according to the Cheonghaejin installation in 828, are mostly dated to around the 10th and 12th centuries. Therefore, the period of construction of Jangdo Eathern Ramparts, also known as Cheonghaejinseong, is of course judged to be from the 12th century, the period after the destruction of the excavated artifacts. In other words, since Jang Do-Eathern Ramparts are an excavated relic from eathern rampart's base, the construction period cannot be retroactively traced back to before the 12th century, nor can it be a relics related to the Jangbogo that the water scars and inlaid celadons over the 2nd and 3rd periods are also excavated. In addition, unlike Cheonghaejinseong that had little reason to defend against the invasion of external enemies, Jangdo eathern ramparts are composed of internal and external castles, and 4 square dimensions were added, and the installation of a wooden line in front of the island and a facility to protect the wells are thought to be quite consistent with the structure of the castle at the time of the construction of the Hangpaduseong Fortress[缸波頭城] during the anti-Yuan relic. And given the period of the construction of Jangdo Earthern Ramparts and the post-12th century, it is difficult to say for sure whether Jangdo Earthern Ramparts are related to General Song Jing, which is still in the records. However, the fact that General Song Jing was based in Wando during the Anti-Yuan period, and that before the liberation, each village held a sacrifice of General Song Jing, and that the shrine housed the general on the main wall still in Jiangdao, etc., is thought to be quite possible that Jangdo Eathern Ramparts will be seen as an anti-Yuan relic. On the other hand, it appears that the interior of Jangdo Eathern Ramparts had already been constructed before the construction of Jangdo Eathern Ramparts, where building land, blood transfusions, and burial mounds were already constructed, and various ceramics as the main species of pottery were excavated, and the period is the central period after the late 9th century. It is judged that this is likely to be an articulation diagram in which Jiangdo is included as one of the middle national rites of Unified Shilla.
