한국어 초록

창의적인 미술교육을 다양한 재료로 꾸미고 기술을 많이 가르치는 것으로 오해할 수도 있지만 교사가 무엇을 가
르치는가보다는 어떻게 가르치는지가 창의 미술교육이라고 할 수 있다. 올바른 창의 미술교육은 아동들에게 자
기 자신을 발견하게 해주고 사고하는 능력을 키워줌으로서 학교에서 배우는 음악, 수학, 과학, 역사, 지리, 등의
과목들과 연계되어 친근하게 느껴지고, 친구들과 교사, 가족, 이웃, 사회를 연결시켜 확장될 것이다. 이렇게 교과
과정이 서로 긴밀하게 상호작용을 하게 하는 통합적인 접근 방법을 효과적으로 적용하여 창의적인 사고와 문제
해결에 자신의 능력을 발휘하도록 하고자한다. 여기에 가장 적합한 통합교육을 위해 문화재를 활용한 통합미술
교육 프로그램의 방법을 모색하게 되었다. 세계적으로 독창적인 가치를 가지고 있는 우리 전통 문화유산에 대한
자긍심을 바탕으로, 주체적이고 창의적으로 계승하고 발전하는 교육의 필요 또한 절실하므로 이를 통해 우리 문
화유산의 참된 가치와 아름다움을 알게 되는 것 또한 매우 바람직하다고 본다. 이에 따른 통합적 미술교육프로
그램 지도 방안으로 다음과 같은 결론을 유추 할 수 있다. 첫째, 미술과 역사의 통합을 통하여 두 교과의 폭넓은
이해가 기대된다. 둘째, 하나의 문화재 감상으로 다양한 접근을 시도하여 학습자의 창의성을 계발 할 수 있다.
셋째, 문화재를 통하여 역사교과의 학습내용의 이해를 돕고, 깊이 있는 문화재감상을 할 수 있으므로 수업의 효
율을 올릴 수 있다. 넷째, 학습자가 다양한 학습의 양식을 이해 할 수 있다. 다섯째, 미술표현에 있어 보다 자유
로운 표현으로 결과물 보다는 과정에서 얻는 아동의 성취감을 올릴 수 있으며 효과적인 아동발달을 이끌어 낼
수 있다. 여섯째, 학습자는 암기식이 아닌 교과의 통합적인 이해로 보다 쉽게 학습능률을 올릴 수 있다. 본 연구
는 문화재의 다양한 감상과 표현으로 통합교육을 시도하여 학습자의 미술교육에 도움이 되고 교사에겐 유용한
학습 자료가 되기를 기대 하건데 교실 내에서만 교재나 영상자료를 이용한 접근만으로는 한계가 있기 ‹š문에 실
제로 박물관방문을 통해 유물을 감상하는 것이 깊이 있는 감상에 보다 도움이 될 것이다. 더불어 외울 것이 많
고 지루하다고도 생각 할 수 있는 교과를 미술을 통해 즐기면서 학습 할 수 있고 우리 민족의 문화유산을 알고
찾고 지킬 수 있는 문화재 애호 인식을 함양 할 수 있는 계기가 되기를 기대 해 본다.

영어 초록

There is a possibility for anyone to misunderstand creative art education as something to teach students various materials and
techniques but as a matter of fact, creative art education is regarded as a field of education to teach how rather than what. In
terms of right creative art education, as it encourages children not only to actually see who they are but also to improve their
thinking abilities, it leads the children to feel familiar with these subjects that they study at school such as music, mathematics,
science, history, geography and others, and eventually, creative art education connects the children even to peers, teachers, families,
neighbors and communities. As briefly explained so far, making effective use of this integrated approach method to help the subjects
interact with each other only closely, creative art education aims to support the children in displaying their creative ideas and
thoughts including their creative abilities as well when they need to solve problems. In order to find the most appropriate integrated
education at this point, this study looked for ways to conduct an integrated art educational program with cultural assets applied.
Korean cultural assets are recognized globally for their own original values and as far as this study understands, it is urgent for any
relevant fields to come up with education that would help the children succeed and develop the cultural assets in both independent
and creative ways based on a sense of pride in the properties. That being so, the study finds it truly reasonable for Korea to make
use of such education to let their children know authentic value and beauty of their cultural assets. Based on what has been
mentioned above, the study extracts conclusions as follows in connection with the teaching plan of the integrated art educational
program. First, combination of art and history expands this understanding and knowledge on the two subjects. Second, as teachers try
various approaches through appreciation of one cultural asset, they can help the development of the learners’ creativity. Third,
cultural assets improves the learners’ understanding on what they would learn in history books at school, and since the learners are
given a chance to appreciate cultural assets more carefully, the class efficiency consequently increases. Fourth, the learners do not have
many difficulties figuring out diverse ways to learn. Fifth, the teachers invite the learners to work on unrestricted representation when
they try to express something artistically, and there, as being more concerned with the process than the result, the children feel a
sense of achievement which, in the end, helps the teachers to extract effective developments of the children. Sixth, not through drills
at school but through integrated understanding on the subject, the learners are led to improve their learning efficiency even more
conveniently. Even though this study hopes that special integrated education with appreciation and representation of several cultural
assets applied contributes to art education of the learners as it works for the teachers as some useful instructional material, due to
this limit of the approach made through textbooks or visual materials in a classroom only, the study actually believes it to be more
helpful when the learners appreciate cultural assets in museums. However, the study still argues that integrated art education with
cultural assets appreciation applied will lead the learners to enjoy any subjects through art, which they might think boring because
they need to memorize all of the contents, and that such education will be an opportunity for the learners to be a lover of Korean
cultural assets who values and protects cultural heritages of the Korean people.
