본고는 호서지역 미사리유형 관련 주거지와 유물의 속성을 함께 검토하여 구체적인 편년을 설정하고, 다른 지역에서 확인되는 미사리유형과 비교 검토 및 호서지역의 미사리유형과 가락동유형의 관계를 검토하여, 호서지역 미사리유형의 전개양상에서 대하여 살펴보았다.
호서지역의 미사리유형은 크게 4단계로 구분되는데, 먼저 1단계는 판석부위석식노지가 단독으로설치된 평면 정방형의 소형 주거지가 주를 이루고 있으며, 돌대문토기와 절상돌대문토기, 미사리계이중구연토기는 가장 이른 시기에 해당하는 A형만이 출토된다. 2단계는 판석부위석식노지와 무시설식노지가 공반되어 설치된 평면 장방형의 대형 주거지가 주를 이루고 있으며, 돌대문토기는 가장 이른시기에 해당하는 A형이 소멸되고, 새로운 형태인 B형과 C형이 출토된다. 미사리계이중구연토기는 가장 이른 형태인 A형과 새로운 형태인 B형이 공반되어 출토된다. 3단계는 판석부위석식노지가 설치된주거지는 소멸되고, 위석식노지가 설치된 평면 방형의 중형·대형의 주거지가 등장한다. 또한 무시설석노지가 설치된 평면 장방형의 소형·중형 주거지가 이전 단계에 비하여 빈도수가 증가한다. 돌대문토기는 C형과 퇴화형인 D형이 공반되어 출토되며, 절상돌대문토기는 B형이 출토되고 있다. 미사리계이중구연토기는 모든 형식이 출토된다. 마지막으로 4단계는 위석식노지와 무시설식노가 설치된 평면 장방형의 대형 주거지와 무시설식노지가 설치된 평면 정방형·방형의 소형 주거지가 다수 확인된다. 돌대문토기는 소멸하며, 절상돌대문토기는 C형만이 출토된다. 미사리계이중구연토기는 모든 형식이 출토되고 있다.
호서지역 미사리유형은 청동기시대 조기~전기 전반에 걸쳐 존속한 것으로 판단되며, 1·2단계가조기, 3·4단계가 전기전반에 해당할 것으로 판단된다. 호서지역의 미사리유형은 청동기시대의 가장이른 시기에 등장하였지만, 이후 가락동유형이 호서지역에 남하하여 일정기간 병존하며, 미사리유형이 점차 소멸되고, 가락동유형으로 흡수되어 결국 가락동유형으로 전개되는 양상을 보이고 있다. 이와 같은 전개양상을 보이는 것은 호서지역의 가락동유형이 다른 지역의 가락동유형에 비해 제일성을보이고 있기 때문이라고 판단된다.

영어 초록

The aim of this study was to review the attributes of The Misari type dwelling and relics in theHoseo area, to establish a specific chronology. And the study also made the comparative reviewwith Misary type in other areas and reviewed the relation between The Misari type and theGarakdong type in order to examine the development features of The Misari type in the Hoseo area.
The Misari type of the Hoseo area can be divided into 4stages. Stage1 is mainly small dwellingwith rectangular shape on the plain where Panseokbuwiseoksiknoji was independently installed.Doldaemun pottery, Jeolsangdoldaemun pottery and Misarigyeijungguyeon pottery, Type Awhich was the earliest period was excavated only. In stage2, Panseokbuwiseoksiknoji andMusiseolsiknoji were co-installed in a large plain rectangular dwelling site. As for Doldaemunpottery, Type A, the earliest period was extinct, and new Types B and C were excavated. As forMisarigyeijungguyeon pottery, Type A, the earliest one, and TypeB, the new style were excavatedtogether. In stage3, the dwelling site where Panseokbuwiseoksiknoji was installed were extinct,and middle and large dwelling site on plain square plain where Wiseoksiknoji was installedappeared. And, the small and medium dwelling sites in plain and rectangular shape whereMusiseolseoknoji was installed increased in numbers. As for Doldaemun pottery, Type C, andType D, a kind of deterioration were excavated together. As for Jeolsangdoldaemun pottery,Type B was excavated. As for Misarigyeijungguyeon pottery, all types were excavated. Finally,in stage 4, there were many large plain and rectangular dwelling sites where Wiseoksiknoji andMusiseolnoji were installed and also many plain square and rectangular small dwelling sites.Doldaemun pottery was extinct, and Type C was found only for Jeolsangdoldaemun pottery. Alltypes were found for Misarigyeijungguyeon pottery.
It is conjectured that the Misari type in the Hoseo area survived in the initial and early stage ofthe Bronze Period and that stages 1 and 2 might be the initial period and stages 3 and 4 mightbe the early period.
The Misari type in the Hoseo area appeared in the earliest period of the Bronze Period. Later,the Garakdong type was transmitted and both types coexisted for a certain period of time. Then,the Misary type decreased gradually and was absorbed by the Garakdong type. Eventually, it wasturned to the Garakdong type. The reason of such trend was because the Garakdong type in theHoseo area had the most primitive form compared with the Garakdong types in other areas.
