영어 초록

Due to IMF relief loan and economic recession, travelling business stayed
in slump for a while. Especially, the travelling business, in its nature, gets
much affected whenever safety or hygiene related troubles occur. Therefore,
the business should make changes in order to cope actively with the change of
market situation and to be competent internationally through consideration on
financial structure and management accomplishment.
The travel agency of case shows an exemplary management in view of its
controlling structure, financial structure, financial ratio, and the likes. During
the period of IMF relief loan, it was ranked as a front runner in the market.
Its profitability gap with other agencies has been expanded owing to its
no-loan financial structure and a healthy profit structure. Now, the number of
travel agencies is over 8,000, and it seems that big agencies from Japan and
U.S. would lead the travel market.
So, the travel agency of case has a growth possibility to grow into a
super-large travel agency in a sound financial structure like JTB which shares
over 40% of the Japan market, as long as it maintains the current
management status. Earlier construction of computer systems, construction of
superior networks home and abroad like Amex Travel, etc., and secure of
abundant contents about travelling, all these are obvious evidences supporting
the growth possibility. Management of the travel agency of case would be a
guidepost for the travel agencies which will disclose the company or try to
make changes in the distribution paths in the future.
