본 연구의 목적은 그룹홈 청소년들을 대상으로 사회적 지지가 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향력을검증하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위한 연구문제는 그룹홈 청소년의 자아탄
력성과 사회적 지지 수준을 알아보고, 이들의 일반특성에 따른 사회적 지지와 자아탄력성의
차이와 사회적 지지가 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2011년 현재
부산, 울산, 대구 지역에 소재한 그룹홈 중 연구에 도움을 주기를 동의한 32개소를 대상으로
우편설문과 대면설문 방식으로 자료를 수집한 결과 66명의 사례가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 본
연구의 주요 연구결과는 자아탄력성의 수준은 5점 평정척도로 측정하여 전체 평균은 3.48로
보통이상으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지수준은 4점 평정척도로 측정한 결과 대리양육자 지지의
평균은 3.50으로 가장 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 다음은 일반적 특성에 따른 자아탄력성과 사
회적지지의 평균차이에서는 전반적으로 통계적 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 사회적 지지가
자아탄력성에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과, 자아탄력성의 하위영역 중 감정통제와 호기심에서
는 사회적 지지가 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다 이러한 연구결과에 대한 논의
를 중심으로 그룹홈 청소년의 자아탄력성 향상을 위한 사회적 개입의 필요성과 대리양육자
지지와 또래지지 그리고 교사지지의 활성화를 위한 필요성과 한계 그리고 후속연구를 위한
제언을 더하였다.
영어 초록
This study attempts to verify the effect of social support for group home adolescents on the ego-resilience.On this purpose, this study investigates the ego-resilience of the group home adolescents and the social
support level, presents the difference of their ego-resiliences and the social supports depending on the
general characteristics, and verifies the influence of the social support on the ego-resilience. Totally 32
group homes located in Pusan, Ulsan, and Daegu agreed to provide the information and 66 people
attended this survey in ways of postal questionnaire and face-to-face analysis. Major results are as follows:
the level of the ego-resilience of the group home adolescents in this survey is measured as 3.48 on an
average by a five-point rating scale which is above the average. The social support level of the respondents
is measured by a four-point rating scale and that of surrogate caregiver support shows highest level of
3.50 on an average. In addition the ego-resilience of the respondents and the social support depending on
the general characteristics in the overall did not differ significantly. Furthermore, from the result verified
the effect of social support on ego-resilience, emotional self-control and curiosity, sub-areas of ego-resilience,
do not show a meaningful dependence on social support. This study presents discussions based on the
result of the survey, and indicates the necessity and the limitation of social intervention and promotion of
surrogate caregiver, peer, and teacher support in order to improve the ego-resilience of the group home
adolescents. Finally recommendations of follow-up study are also presented.
