Allowing cellphones in the classroom is considered one of the hot controversies in the school field. Many schools have showed different positions on cellphone policy. Some schools are permitting student to use their phones in the classroom because they are used as learning tools which contain various academic functions such as videos and apps. Other schools are practicing strict restriction of using cellphones in the classroom since cellphone use in the classroom is disruptive to both teachers and other classmates. Although cellphones have become an essential part of our everyday life, we should not allow our children to use their phones while they are studying in the classroom because they cause serious problems.
