② Auto battery charging circuit
(ⅰ) the current through
From the diode`s properties, the result seems to half rectifier circuit result. Next to transformer circuit, there are four diodes. They operate half rectifier circuit. Because diode has polarity that it operates under forward bias. If the source is not rectifier, battery charging is not happen. Maybe charging and discharging is repeated. So the source must rectifier shape.
In fig. the current through , the current is zero when the voltage is 5.7V ~ 6.0V. It means that in auto battery charging circuit, the current through is zero when the charging is finished. In experiment, the LED may becomes dark. However, in fig. the current through , the current increases when the voltage is 5.7V ~ 6.0V. The current through and the current through is opposite each other.
