One of the greatest discovery in the world is the concept of zero. The ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman had to make new symbol as the size of numbers increased, because there were no connections between numbers. In one case in Greece, ρ, the symbol of 100, has no relationship with α, the symbol of 1000. They also needed new symbol to describe 10000. However, the Indian, who developed the concept of zero, could express any numbers by using only ten symbols; 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. The core in Indian notation is based on `occupy room`. It means that the place where that number is located is very important. For example, 18 and 81 are totally different numbers because of their placement. But they realized that they could not express 108 or 801 by using only 1 and 8. It was inevitable for them to create the concept of zero. The concept of zero was very easy for Indian to calculate numbers and write them down on the paper
