High school and University are common in that they both are the places for teaching young students. And like professors, high school teachers also grade students to mainly use ‘Exam’. However, they are different in many ways. I will compare these things by using examples. In high school, students learn only theoretical knowledge. For example, students study things like what kinds of plants grow in the southern part of the Korea, and what kind of industry is developed on which places. These are things that they will never use and neither remember after they graduate high school. On the contrary, in university, students learn practical things those will help them when they become a member of the society. Even the English writing class we have right now could be a great help when we manage English. The environments that educations in university and high school have are also very different. While university asks students to do self-controlled study, the high school only gives a cramming education. As the result, high school and university are similar in that they are for young students and have a ‘Exam’.
