Introduction
This report reviews the business plan and analyzes the LapLock business. Identification on analyzed aspects as well as the critical evaluation will be carried out. In order to analyze the business effectively, the SWOT analysis is used, with aid of other exercise tools. The evaluation review of the business plan will be made based on the SWOT analysis.
SWOT is a strategic planning tool used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, involved in a project or in a business venture. Opportunities and threats are developments in the external factors, and strengths and weaknesses are developments in the internal factors of the business. Role of SWOT can be seen as “to identify the extent to which the current strategy of an organisation and its more specific strengths and weaknesses are relevant to, and capable of dealing with, the changes taking place in the business environment” (Johnson G, Scholes K, Exploring Corporate Strategy, 1997, pp.174-5)
