I 서론
1. 내가 이 논문을 과제 주제로 선정한 이유
우리나라에서 최근 연예인이나 정치인 등 유명인의 자살 소식이 심심치 않게 뉴스에 오르고내리고 있다. 한 나라의 자살 통계는 그 나라 국민의 정신건강과 행복수준을 단적으로 보여주는 지표이다. 우리 사회 전반에 우울증과 자살은 매우 급격하게 증가하고 있고 다양한 방면에서 대책을 내놓고 있다. 이와 관련된 논문을 찾아보면서 긍정심리 프로그램은 환자에게 어떤 영향을 주는지 알아보고자 이 논문을 주제로 선정하였다.

1. 논문의 필요성 요약
주요우울장애는 가장 흔한 정신질환 중의 하나로 초기 치료 반응도 낮으며, 회복이 되더라도 재발률이 높기에 치료에 많은 어려움이 따르는 심각한 정신건강 문제이다. 치료방법 중 긍정심리 프로그램이 우울을 감소와 예방에도 효과가 있음이 밝혀지면서 최근 들어 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 주요우울장애로 진단을 받고 약물치료를 받고 있는 환자들을 대상으로 긍정심리 프로그램이 대상자들의 우울증상을 낮추고 자존감과 희망을 증진시키는 효과를 규명하고 자 한다.
