1) 독립변인
본 논문에서 독립변인은 SNS 플랫폼의 익명성 정도와 여성의 문화적 배경이다. SNS 플랫폼은 페이스북과 같이 익명성이 낮은 플랫폼과 Womens health 같이 익명성이 높은 플랫폼이 선정되었다. 여성의 문화적 배경은 Asian, Latina, European Americans이다.
2) 종속변인
본 논문에서 종속변인은 젊은 여성의 ‘온라인 성적 담화(sex talk)’ 인지도이다. 온라인 성적 담화란 온라인 상에서 진행되는 성적인 흥미도, 성적인 즐거움, 성적인 경험과 관련된 이야기를 의미한다.
