1. What is the setting of this story? Who is the protagonist? Who is Joey?
The setting is in the class for studying and it is the last class on Friday afternoon.
The protagonist is the teacher who is the boys that are not very high class but usually working class or have no parents at all.
Joey is the tortoise teacher bring it for the drawing class.
2. Why are the students so excited? Explain who the Gordon Home Boys are and also what the Home for the children of actors is. Use textbook B.
The reason why the students was so excited is the tortoise brought for the class.
The Gordon Home boys were donated by the Church of England Society and they are described as insolent, resentful position, while the children of actors are donated by Actor’s Orphanage Fund and they accommodate orphans and illegitimate children of actors and actresses’ and they are described as delightful, refined, manly, and aimiable.
