The article that has been chosen is related to the lecture materials in the following aspects.
First, as the title indicates, the article is about the lipid metabolism and defect in the human body. In order to understand how the lipid which is hydrophobic is transported to target organs in the blood plasma which is hydrophilic, the concept of lipoprotein must be considered and it had been covered by 4th lecture material “medical lipid(1.quantity and transport of lipids in the body)”.
Second, since the article is related to the disease of human body, the physiological regulatory factors, such as insulin, glucagon, leptin and ghrelin, in human body have to be kept in mind, which had been covered by 1st lecture material(Lipogenesis, Fatty acid biosynthesis).
