The healthcare industry, or medical industry, is a sector within the economic system. The system provides goods and services to treat patients with curative, preventive, rehabilitative, palliative. The modern sector of healthcareis divided into many sub-sectors, and relies on interdisciplinary parts of trained professionals to meet health needs of individuals and populations.
The healthcare industry is well known for one of the world`s largest and fastest-growing industries. As healthcare consumesmore than 10 percent of GDP of most developed countries, healthcare can form an enormous part of a country`s economy.
