Place attachment is the bonding based on positive affection in the interactions between people and a place that significant for the harmonious relationship between people and the environment. Scannel and Gilford (2010) considered the dimensions of place attachment and proposed the theoretical framework of Place, Person, and Process (PPP), which should be systematically studied from the perspective of person, place, and psychological processes. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the theory of place attachment and put forward the hypothesis for the structural model. The potential variables of the model were analyzed, and the correlation coefficients were obtained. In view of the results of the structural model analysis, relevant policy proposals were put forward. After the questionnaire investigation on the Haneul Park in Daejeon city, the data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method, and the model with 19 measurement items was established.
