東巖 李而樟과 松岡 李命徵의 生涯와 詩世界

碧珍 李氏 가운데 密陽 來進 門中의 경우 조선 중기 이후 후기에 들어 많은 학자들이 배출되어 여러 대에 걸쳐 문집이 이어져 나오고 벼슬도 이어졌던 것을 볼 수 있다. 그런데 이렇게 문중이 번창할 수 있었던 것은 중간에 東巖 李而樟과 松岡 李命徵 부자의 효우 돈목의 정신이 크게 작용하였기 때문이 아니었을까 한다.동암은 아버지 秉節公 李繼胤으로부터 ��小學��의 실천궁행의 정신을 받아 위로는 아버지의 뜻을 받들고 아래로는 五友堂을 지어 형제와 우애 있게 지내고 자질의 교육에 힘썼다. 그 결과 중년에 진사시에 합격하고 성균관에 들어가 재자들과 교유를 확대하는 등 도약의 단계에 있는 듯하였다. 그러나 함께 서울에 머물던 셋째 아우 李而相의 급작스런 죽음으로 충격을 받아 세상에 나아가는 일을 단념하였지만 그 후유증으로 일년 만에 자신도 세상을 떠나게 되었다. 동암의 시는 그의 생애를 깊이 있게 알 수 있는 좋은 자료이다. 동암은 그리 많은 시를 남기지는 않았고, 시도 輓詞가 위주이지만 시작품들은 비교적 뛰어난 것으로 보인다. 만시는 여러 작품들이 거의 일관되게 자신만의 독특한 구조로 작품을 구성하고 있어 하나의 특징을 이루고 있다. 抒情詩와 交遊詩는 그리 많지 않으나, 시 속에 절제된 감정이 잘 스며들어 있다. 송강은 아버지 동암이 갑자기 돌아가시자 많지 않은 나이에 조부모와 어머니, 그리고 여러 명의 삼촌을 모셔야 할 뿐만 아니라, 아래로는 처자와 형제를 돌보아야 하는 막중한 일을 맡게 되었다. 처음에는 아버지의 뜻에 따라 벼슬에 대한 미련을 가지고 있었으나, 중간에 환로에 대한 환멸을 느끼고 과거를 포기하였다. 그는 아버지와 마찬가지로 효우와 돈목을 매우 중시하여 一家契를 조직하였으며, 12說을 지어 유자로서의 기본에 충실하고자 하였다.송강의 시도 그의 생애가 적극적으로 반영되어 그의 생애와 사상을 이해하는 데에 중요한 정보를 제공해 준다. 그의 시는 아버지의 것에 비해 양적으로 많으며, 내용에 있어서도 아버지에 못지않다고 할 수 있다. 하지만, 시는 벗과 주고받으며 우의를 다진 交友詩, 자신과 동갑인 숙부와 벗처럼 주고받은 唱酬詩, 고향의 산천에 대한 자부를 드러내거나, 특히 고향에 계신 어머니를 그리며 지은 思鄕詩 등등의 다양한 양상을 보인다.이들에 대한 연구는 동암과 송강 부자 각각의 삶과 사상을 살피고 시를 통하여 이를 확인하는 것 이외에 벽진 이씨 내진문중이 흥왕하게 한 원천이 무엇이었던가를 이해하는 데에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

영어 초록

I've been looked through a father and a son Dongam Li yijang and Songgang Li Myungjing's lives and poetries. Their family is Byukjin Li, which was an absolute existence to someone who wield power in Milyang, Naejin. Investigating their lives poetries, we could know why they had an important rule in Naejin and what were the specific situations. Dongam influenced lots of descendants despite of his short life span. That's because he laid stress on supporting his parents and caring his brothers and siblings. This was the result of his father, Li Gyeyun, emphasising filial duty and brothership based on practices in Sohack.In Dongam's life one of the biggest turning points was that he passed an official test and studied at Seonggyunguan for several years, and another big turning point was his little brother's death while he was with Dongam away from home. After these, he retrieved his intend to be an official and stayed at his hometown making a good friend with local scholars.Dongam's poetry reflects all of his life. But he didn't write poems often that there were not much of his poems left. The most his poems were elegies which were mourns about dead people, but he did not just reveal his sad feelings, he also described dead people's lives and descendents. His lyrics and social poems show that he expressed sincere mind at the same time refraining his mind. Like Dongam, Songgang also lived life as his father. After his father's death when he was still young, he was in response of all of his family. At that time he followed his father's will supporting his grand parents and his mother truly and made the family's harmony come first. At first, he intended to be an government official, but he became disillusioned by contemporary political situation and seeing Kim Suhang and his relative making a deal, so he, without regret, stayed at his hometown like his father. He especially concerned with filial duty and brothership that he wrote about this in detail. His poetry also is closely related to his life. In contrast with His father who wrote not much poems except elegies, he wrote plenty of social poems, part of which are about academic exchange with his friends and some of which are about local events. Songgang left many poems about homesick in which he drew a variety of things about his hometown instead of expressing sufferings like other similar poems. He compared the beauty of his hometown to the world of gods, and he also wrote a lot about his mother.Both of them were eager to follow their fathers advises, and fulfilled filial duty and brothership.
