이트의 이론과 Sue Jennings의 EPR(Embodiment - Projection - Role)발달모델
This process has been performed 25 times in total from Nov 15, 2008 toApr 25, 2009. This study aims to examine the effects of the technique which
combines Sue Jennings’ EPR model with Sigmund Freud' Psychoanalysis
Theory.
This study chose an EPR model which is appropriate for the participants
and encouraged them to develop a greater awareness of themselves through
repeated work practices including movement, story-making and
role-playing.
As a result, this study has drawn five conclusions as follows.
First, it was found that when motion for past incident changed, usual
motion also changes. In initial motions, the body fell down constantly or
failed to control the strength to move astray with legs hitting empty space,
but from the 25th motion, the body maintained better control of center, and
did not fall down or struggle. Also, there were attempts to exchange with
other people, and motions of ‘joyous’ emotion.
Second, it was found that perspective and interpretation on oppressed
memory by continued motion expression and role play changed. In initial
stage, only incidents or physical injuries were concentrated, so only major
emotions were recognized, and the principals were not aware why such
incidents are important to themselves. However, in later stages of work, the
perspective to look at the same incident changed, and various emotions were
appealed. In addition, they could recognize what such incidents signify to
themselves.
Third, participants came to become aware that dramatherapy is necessary
for general people who conduct everyday life as well as people with mental
disorder to extend the recognition of an emotional condition more
comfortable than now and one's own self, and activate the reflection of
oneself, for the therapy is intended for discovery of mature self while
simultaneously for alleviation of disease.
Fourth, it was found that unconscious oppressed memories occurred as
physical motion,
Fifth, this study, which executed new work to reinforce motion in
compliance with EPR model format, verified that in a story or play, motions
can reflect unconsciousness as it is even when consciously fabricated elements
are included.
