이 글에서는 새 국어과 교육과정의 문법 영역을 제7차 교육과정과 비교하여 그 특징을 논의했다. 새 교육과정의 문법 영역의 성격에서는 언어 현상의 탐구 활동을 통한 사고력 신장을 강조했다는 점이 특징이다. 그러나 목표 부분이나 학습 내용 부분에 이러한 특징이 구체적으로 반영되어 있지 않아 교과서 개발이나 향후 개정 시에 이에 대한 고려가 필요함을 논의했다. 문법 영역은 영역 이름이 국어 지식에서 문법으로 바뀌는 것을 비롯하여 내용 체계도 7차 교육 과정에서 크게 변화되었다. 이 글에
서는 새 교육 과정 문법 영역의 내용 체계 ‘중국어 사용의 실제’를 ‘국어 현상의 탐구와 문법 적용의 실제’로 바꿀 것 등 문법 영역의 고유성과 타 영역과의 균형성, 국어과의 고유성 등을 고려하여 수정된 문법 영역의 내용 체계를 제안하였다. 문법 영역의 학년별 내용에서는 수준별 학습에 대한 교육 과정 상의 제시 방법의 변화, 학습 내용(성취 기준)의 적정화 등에 대해 논의했다. 학습 내용이 수치상으로는 줄어든 것처럼 보이나 실제로는 늘어날 가능성이 많다는 것과 학습 내용 제시 기준이 여전히 객관적이지 못하다는 점, 탐구 활동을 위한 내용의 고려가 부족하다는 점, 언어 자료의 수준과 범위의 제시가 잉여적이라는 점 등에 대해서 논의했다.

영어 초록

This s tud y discussed the n ew curriculum and the 7 th curriculum of t he Korean Language Education in the field of grammar. I t ried to consider the feature of the new curriculum on critical point of view and focused on the properties, aim, organization of contents and contents of each grade.
Improvement of thinking ability through inquiry activities of linguistic phenomenon is emphasized in the new curriculum of the Korean Language Education in the field of grammar.
However, the special feature was not reflected in the parts of aim and contents in the concrete. So this study discussed that the necessity of consideration for it when the new textbook is developed or revised after.
The contents organization in the field of grammar was changed a great deal.
First, the title was changed from 'the Knowledge of the Korean Language' to 'Grammar'. Second, the categories are changed from the substance of Korean Language, the understanding and inquiry about Korean Language, the attitude for it and the standard and use of it to the practice of the Korean Language use, the Knowledge, the inquiry and context.
This study suggested changing 'the practice of using the Korean language' into 'the practice of inquiry in the phenomenon of the Korean language and the application of grammar' and the revised contents organization in the field of grammar as considering the characteristics of the grammar part and the others or the Korean language.
In the contents in grammar part of each grade, I discussed 'the change of presentation method on the curriculum for learning by level' and 'the contents (achievement standards) optimization' etc.
Also I pointed out that the contents seem to reduce numerically, but there is strong possibility of increase in fact, and the presentation of the level and range of linguistics data is redundant, nonobjective contents presentation standard and lack of enough consideration of contents for inquiry activities etc.
