The initial irreversible capacity of a hard carbon during the charge/discharge reaction is stro-ngly affected by both the initial irreversible capacity on the carbon surface and the initial irrev-ersible lithium insertion into carbon.
The initial coulombic effciency of the insertion and the desertion of lithium can be used as a performance to classfy of the carbon.
