This document is to analyse the advertising strategy of Electronic Arts, to find out the effectiveness of its advertising strategy and to recommend how to improve the advertising strategy of Electronic Arts.
Firms should use four major advertising decisions in developing an advertising program; objectives setting, budget decisions, message and media decisions and evaluation. Messages to be conveyed needs to be clearly understood and accepted by those responsible for sending them. The advertiser has to know the impact and the suitable type of media to advertise.
DAGMAR is an acronym of Defining Advertising Goal for Measured Advertising Results. DAGMAR model has four steps of purchasing that are awareness, comprehension, conviction and action. Benchmarking is the process of measuring a company’s strategies.
