본문내용
What is pop art? It is a form of art that depicts objects or scenes from everyday life and employs techniques of commercial art and popular illustration. Because pop art emerged in the mid 1950s, all of the pop art works were produced in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Some of pop arts have emotions in it; some of them do not have any emotion in it. For example, the emotion can be love, sad, mysterious, and so on. The purpose of my exhibition is to present pop arts and the different powers of expression of emotions from them. For this curatorial premise, I have chosen three pop artworks, the one has full emotion in it, another has little bit of emotion, and the other has no emotion; they are “Woodcut Heart” by Jim dine, “Paintings: Picasso Head” by Roy Lichtenstein, and “Common history: totem” by Michael Craig Martin. I will briefly talk about the information of each work and artist, and how my exhibition looks like.
