Marriage is one of the biggest events in our life, therefore most people over the world might like to have a big wedding ceremony to celebrate it. We also see and enjoy a wedding ceremony, wish a great happiness and congratulate it. From the wedding ceremony, new couple becomes a real partner each other with everyone’s blessing.
On the other hand, they have different ways of ceremony according to their culture and custom even the meaning of any process related to a wedding differs more than somewhat among countries. Thus, from the beginning of the ‘Research Project’, we decided to choose ‘wedding culture’ for our topic and started to gather any information about a wedding. Every wedding custom has its own features, so we may see and know the features of each culture through examining a wedding culture. For doing this, we used search engines, mailing list, e-mailing, chatting, and newsgroup on the Internet that we learned in class. It was quite successful to reach getting good information, but some didn’t work well. Let us describe how we progressed our research and how those tools worked for it.
