1. Retarded concepts
; Radioactive radiation, beta-decay, conservation of parity, antineutrino, gamma quanta, half-value thickness, absorption coefficient, term diagram, pair formation, Compton effect, photoelectric effect, conservation of angular momentum, forbidden transition, weak interaction, dead time.

2. Principle
; The inverse square law of distance is demonstrated with the gamma radiation from a Co-60 preparation, the half-value thickness and absorption coefficient of various materials determined with the narrow beam system and the corresponding mass attenuation coefficient calculated.

각각의 결과를 살펴보면 실제값과 실험결과로 구한 값과 상당히 차이가 남을 알 수가 있다. 그러나 이러한 것은 실험 data가 적기 때문에 임의의 두께에서 약간만 측정치가 오차가 크다면 그래프를 추측하는 가운데 엄청난 영향을 끼치게 되어 의 값이 많이 달라지게 된다. 따라서 결과가 실제값과 많이 다르게 나타나게 되는 것이다. 또한 absorber의 두께를 조정함에 있어서 각 두께에 맞는 absorber가 없기 때문에 absorber를 여러개를 나란히 놓아서 실험을 하였는데 이 경우 absorber사이에서 γ입자가 산란할 수가 있어서 일정한 counting rate를 측정하는데 더 어려움이 있다. 따라서 이 경우에는 여러번 실험을 반복하거나 counting rate를 측정하는 시간을 늘림으로써 좀 더 정확도를 높일 수 있을 것이다.
