The population of Korea is getting lower and lower due to the fact that young married couples only want one or two children. According to the investigation called "2004 International Population" by the UNFPA(United Nations Population Fund), there are 482,000,00 people in Korea now, and it`s the 26th highest number of 154 countries. However the UNFPA expected the number of population in Korea to be only 443,000,00 by 2050. The Korean government considers it as a serious problem. Now the government has taken measures to make it better. One of the measures is to make it more expensive to get an abortion, and the other is to support the families who have more than three children with the expense of bringing up children. As we can see here, the government regard the abortion as the first reason of the population decreasing. I surely agree with it, but speaking of "abortion" itself, I don`t think it`s a bad thing and should be banned.
