1. Introduction
Biochemistry is a stem of life science that studies the composition of life and the processes involved in life activities in a chemical way. It is also part of chemistry in that it uses organism as a material. The major disciplines under this biochemistry are physiology and genetics. In order to learn more about this, I selected a course called 'dna-decoded,' an online class in COURSERA related to biochemistry. In this report, I want to take some time to organize DNA that I learned in the class on my own.

I. The molecular structure of DNA
Genes exist in every living organism. There is also a characteristic and repetitive nature of each species. This is possible because all living things can be inherited, which is a phenomenon that inherits the characteristics of a species from the parents’ generation to the offsprings’. What makes this heredity possible is its genes. And the genes that are the essence of these organisms are made up of DNA.
