Some days ago, I watched a movie ‘Solo’ which is directed by Mike Hoover and made by Pyramid studio in 1972. The film doesn’t have clear picture and is very short. Even the character doesn’t speak. The film also doesn’t have any subtitles. Although it doesn’t have any dialogs and subtitles, it gives me strange feelings. I am impressed with the story of the climber. His respectable courage gives me power and motive to upgrade quality of my life, and makes me think about loneliness. It is a story about one man who climbs to the summit of mountain without any person’s help. First scene is a very high mountain with mystery music. It is a goal to the climber. This scene stimulates my curiosity about movie’s story. The climber is a handsome guy who wears a passionate red hat. Although there is a beautiful waterfall, the beginning of climbing, the climber looks lonely. When we see his slow, heavy and careful walk, we feel his iron will to achieve something by himself. The middle of climbing, he goes up to the mountain by using nails and strings.
