Recently we received a request for viewpoints on whether people should live together before getting married. The mass media which is the most familiar and effective source to the viewers deals with this sensitive subject of cohabitation which has long been avoided as a taboo subject for public viewing. For example, "Let's live together. Why don't you live with me whether we are happy or not?" It's the part of a popular song, `Jumpo Mambo', sung by `Cool'. The message of this song conveys that cohabitation before marriage is a way of getting to know what loving each other means. And a recent release of the film, `Wani and Junha', showed non-marital cohabitation of the two main characters in a beautiful setting. Not only the movie and the song, but also the soap opera which is telecasted every day starts using the theme of cohabitation as a subject matter.
