Even as early as his junior college days, Wong Toon King had already proven himself as someone to reckon with, considering his formidable combination of athleticism, academic prowess and leadership qualities.
To understand Wong Toon King's success as an Internet entrepreneur, it helps to know that he fences, and fences well. He co-founded the Raffles Junior College fencing team in 1984, a move indicative of his enduring love for the "sport of kings". His enthusiasm for the sport was not at the expense of his academic results, for he was awarded a government scholarship from the National Computer Board to the world-renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
