It’s a Greek word meaning “Good death “ When we discuss euthanasia in English, We’re talking about assisting someone who is terminally ill to die. These patients are usually in great pain, ad they want to end their lives because they have no chance of recovering from their illnesses. Doctor help these patients by giving them lethal drugs or gas. If you know anything about euthanasia, then you must know Dr. Jack Kevorkian. He is a doctor in America who is notorious for assisting suicides. Those that oppose euthanasia see him as the devil/. The opposition says that it’s hard to determine who is terminally ill since miracles happen every day, and so terminally ill patents can recover.

It’s no surprise as Korean society is very conscious of physical appearances. Of course, there are many kinds of procedures being done, like breast enlargements, liposuction, and double eyelid surgeries. We all hear about the risks involved with any kind of surgery but people are willing to take that risk to look beautiful. The media subconsciously tells us the standards of beauty. As we watch models and celebrities with gorgeous bodies and perfect faces we want to be like them. We forget that they themselves might have gotten plastic surgery to look that way. In any case, that may be one reason why people get plastic surgery.
