Instructions
• You must read this Lab Sheet and the Lab Documentation prior to your lab session.
• These documents are available on MyLO in Microsoft Word format and contain much of what you need to know, however some extra research may be required.
• Pre-lab is to be completed prior to the lab and handed in at the start of the lab session.
• Your final report should be typed into the Lab Sheet. Any necessary graphs should be created in Excel and pasted into the relevant spaces below.
• The pre-lab (below) should be completed prior to attending the lab.
PRE-LAB
In your own words, describe the purpose of this lab and give a brief summary of the method.
In this lab, we will learn about modes of heat such as conduction, convection and radiation. In real life, the heat transfer are combined because there are radiation and natural convection in atmospheric air. And we were applied the dry hardwood and steam pipe insulation on the stainless steel hollow cylinder.
