Through the Carman-Kozeny equation, the theoretical value of pressure drop was obtained and the error between the theoretical value and the actual value was calculated. In addition, the pressure drop and height could determine the range of fixed and fluidized beds.
As the flow rate increases, the bed height is constant in the fixed bed and the pressure drop is constant in the fluidized bed. In the air case, the height is constant from 0 to 8L/min and the pressure drop value is constant from 10 to 20L/min. The range after 10L/min is in the fluidized bed state.
