The need for changes in English education at Korea’s high school

Almost all Korean students learned English at school. Through current lessons at school, students spend too much time learning English. It is important to learn English very well because Korea regards English as a significant factor for going to university and graduate school or finding jobs. Almost every big company in Korea evaluates English proficiency important (“Baekdae gieop jung,” 2014).
