본문내용
IntroductionYouTube opened a new era of visual media by making easy for the public to upload and share videos. Previously, video contents has been produced by professional equipment in broadcasting stations and can only viewed on TV. Since the advent of YouTube, however, individuals can upload and watch videos with their mobile devices. The developments of visual media also has effects on education. Just as news and documentaries aired on TV have provided new information to citizens, YouTube videos uploaded from people around the world bring fresh experiences and knowledge to others living on the other side of the world. Thus, the number of YouTube channels deal with educational contents have increased; Khan Academy solves homework problems, TED posts up stories of successful people in specific field, and college channels run by MIT and Standford.
