1.0 OBJECTIVE
This experiment is to measure the volume and pressure of a given amount of gas for constant and study the relation between pressure, volume and temperature of a gas.
2.0 EQUIPMENT
1) Pressure & Temperature Sensor
2) Sphere with integral thermistor
3) Syringe with integral thermistor and pressure sensing tube
4) Glass flask
5) Bunsen burner
6) Balloon
7) Fire-tube cylinder and lint fuel
3.0 METHOD
3.1 Isochoric process
1) Observe the initial pressure and temperature
2) Place sphere with integral thermistor in a container of warm water
3) Observe the final pressure and temperature

4.4 Isobaric gas process (Charles’ Law)
Isobaric process is a thermodynamic process in which pressure remains constant. For an ideal gas, this means that the volume of a gas proportional to its temperature. By heating the flask, the temperature of air in the flask increases, the balloon is expanded.
