Nearly 50 years ago, many students were taught that renewable energy, such as solar power, wind energy, geo-thermal will be used in a few years.
These days solar energy or wind energy are easily found when geo-thermal is not.
Why does this occur?
It comes from different application efficiency. As can be seen, solar energy could be used anywhere that lights well when geo-thermal requires specific land to get nuclear heat energy, which lead to have differences in costs.
In the other hand, they still have similarity.
